I am still here peeps, I cannot believe its been 4 months since my last post. I’m sorry.
If you’ve been following me on instagram you will see that I’ve still been painting my nails and doing my thing, just not been posting them here!!
Work got busy, 3 hedgehogs and an awkward boyfriend to look after take up a lot of time, plus painting nails!
Here are a few of the highlights from my time away:
Phew!!! Thats just a random selection!!!
And just cause I can here are some random hedgehog piccies!!!
I got my tattoo finished! (its a horrible piccie, not got around to getting another one taken!)
And finally I went on holidays back in June to Lanzarote again. Loved it and miss it terribly. Hope to go back at Christmas.
So anyways, bit a pic heavy update, I’ll try to be back more regularly and I hope not to many of you have left me!
Take care and much love. xx
So I decided to switch around the stamping polishes today and used Layla as my base with A England as my stamping polish.
Layla Ultra Violet is a gorgeous halo polish. It is hard work however and does need a specialist base and not nail envy like I attempted. Sadly then it went quite patchy and uneven. Going over with another coat made it worse so despite 3 coats, it was a bit of a disaster.
I stamped over with A England Jane Eyre as this was a dark purple colour I thought the contrast would be nice. However it wasn’t a great stamping polish choice, it simply wasn’t opaque enough which was a shame.

I decided I wanted to see how good the new Models Own HyperGels would be as stamping polishes and ending up putting this right to the test!!
I used as my base A England, Tess D’Urbervilles. I love A Englands polishes but I have to admit I wasn’t totally into this one. I think its because most of the time it just looks black. You have to really get it into the sun to establish its a dark green.
I stamped using HyperGel in Turquoise Gloss using a Bundle Monster plate. I chose to use a bamboo stamp to see how much detail the hyper gel would pick up.
What do you think? Could you tell?
I’m not convinced myself at all on this mani and will change it pretty quick I think.

As soon as I saw this prompt, I knew EXACTLY what I was going to wear. The polish that started my orange addiction. Dollish Polish Dragons Breath. I layered two coats of this over OPI A Roll in the Hague. I’d forgotten just how much I loved the sparkle from this polish. Totally amazing.
I couldn’t leave it alone though and after a day I decided to stamp over it to jazz it up a bit.
What do you think? Good choice of stamping, or should I have left it alone?
Lets see what the others are up to today.

For personal reasons I’m having issues with Picture Polish at the moment. I love their polishes and innovation, but I’m not sure about the choices they are making at the moment. But there we go, thats not the poor polishes fault!! LOL
Imperial is a beautiful polish that I bought from Sally Magpies a short while ago.
Applies fab and was opaque in 2 coats.
I wore this for two days (shocker) and did get a little tip wear on day 2. Otherwise I think its beauty speaks for itself!
Some more stamping today!
Base colour is Radium which as like all Illamasqua’s applies really well. Two coats and it was sorted.
Dry time is super quick so I did some swirly stamping using A England Dragon which is a holographic green. A Englands are great for stamping.
Love the colour combo!
What do you think?
If you follow me on my instagram (and if not why not??!! Linky —–>) then you will have seen some of this weeks mani’s already. And some cute hedgehog piccies!!!!
You’ll also notice a bit of a colour theme going on this week, lemme know if by Friday you get it!
Today I’m going to talk about a polish brand that I’d never had before, I bought it because the retailer was having a sale and I liked the name. I also knew that the Walking Dead was coming back to the UK and I wanted to wear something to celebrate that return. And it was pink.
Application was fab, no fishing around for glitters was required and the piccies show two coats. What I didn’t realise, until I went to bed, was that the polish was glow in the dark!! Totally made me jump when I went to scratch my nose in the middle of the night!!
However I preferred this polish when it glowed rather than in day light. For me it was just too light for my skin tone, I need something a bit deeper coloured. So great polish, but just not for me.
