Pink Argyle Art!
I had some time on my hands and decided to play around with some nail art. I browsed through some tutorials in pinterest and came across this one which seemed simple enough!
With thanks to nutin but a nail thing for doing this.
I used as my base colour one of the new Hyper Gels from Models Own, Pink Veneer and as my darker pink Kiko 447 Carmine Red (although to me it looks more pink but whatever!!).
I used my Barry M nail art pens and away I went!!
Its a shame my white pen is a little watery compared to my black pen as I think it would have worked better if it wasn’t. But I was still totally pleased with the finished look!
What do you think?

Emily de Molly – Cosmic Forces
I bought this EdM in a blog sale a little while ago and its been sat in my untrieds for a while. I’d always wanted to try the brand but decided to dip my toe in first. After this I have to admit I do quite like it!
I layered Cosmic over two coats of Kiko 446 Dark Cherry. This itself was a gorgeous colour and worked perfectly with EdM. I used one coat of this.
Aren’t those halo circle glitters gorgeous! I wore this for two days. Think that says it all.

A Kiko textured gradient
I’d seen this done on other blogs and wanted to give it a go, sadly I think the colours I choose where just too close together. I need to be a lot bolder next time!
I chose Kiko 455 Light Taupe and 458 Anthracite. Both gorgeous polishes in their own right and as always with Kiko a dream to apply.
What do you think? Worth the effort?

Maybelline Street Art – White Splatter
You’ll have seen these everywhere by now I’m sure but I really love these. They are new from Maybelline and they really do strike me as indie polishes. I suspect the mainstream are watching closely to the indie makers and seeing whats rocking our world and making it more accessible to us.
I mean before I even became a proper nail addict I didn’t even know there was such a thing as indie polishes!!
Anyway I used another Kiko from the satin range, Kiko 443 Rose Taupe and then two coats of the Maybelline on top. I have to admit some fishing of glitters was required but not as much as there is with some other big glitter polishes.
I really liked the end result however I do wish I’d used a slightly darker base.
What do you think? They were on offer in Boots, buy one get another half price but at the time of writing I’m not sure if thats the case. If it is go run now! lol

Kiko 448 Cobalt Blue
Told you I was still working my way through those Kiko’s!! Todays choice was from the satin collection.
Stunning, gorgeous blue. Adored it. I added some stickers on top which I loved, but as they were 3d stickers I didn’t use a top coat. Sadly due to the fact that they were white they got dirty within a couple of hours which I was really gutted about.
That explains just the couple of crappy photo’s today. Totally gutted.
However I highly recommend you get hold of the Kiko great formula great colour and no staining which I normally get from blues!!! Big thumbs up from me!

Kiko – 451 (Apricot!)
Still working through those Kiko’s I bought in London! Today is one of the lighter colours. I decided that my last stamping effort over textured polish worked soooo well I’d try again. Errr no soooo well this time!
I used Konad pink stamping polish and a butterfly stamp. You’ll get 10/10 if you recognise that they are butterflies!! lol
Pretty colours and I liked the combination, but perhaps a less intense stamp!

Another day another Kiko – 445 – True Red
This time a Satin finish. I love these in the bottle as they have a gorgeous shimmer, however these don’t always translate onto the nail sadly. Having said that thought they are stunning on and Kiko really is fast becoming one of my favourite brands for polish.
I decided to stamp over it with a stamp I’d being dying to try out for a while. Love and Hate! Didn’t really stamp straight sadly but I still think it was effective.
What do you think of the Kiko polishes?
Kiko – Sugar Mat 456 – Teal Green
Kiko Sugar Mat – 457 – Royal Blue
Another MoYou Christmas mani!
I’m really getting into this stamping lark you know!! So much so I decided to use my Christmas plate again. You’ll see a few more manis from this plate, don’t you worry!!! lol
I used one of my satin Kikos as my base, 450 also known as Light Tiffany. Applied two coat which dried really quickly. I then stamped the holly on using green konad stamping polish and to add a bit of colour I dotted on some holly berries using my nails inc red.
Really like this festive mani. We are doing a dress up as christmas day shortly at work so look out for that mani!!!
